Lefton and Austrian Vanity Set
Item Details
A Lefton porcelain and vanity set and Austrian porcelain saucer. The Lefton items are snow white porcelain with a gold transferware and hand painted motif of scrollwork and various flowers in hand applied gold painted enamel. Marked and tagged to the underside ‘Lefton China, Hand Painted, Japan Exclusives’ and the pattern number 923 with the maker’s mark. Included is a small vanity saucer in porcelain with a pink rose and green floral and foliate pattern featuring hand applied gold enamel embellishment. marked to the base ‘M.Z. Austria,’ for Moritz Zdekauer, circa 1884 – 1909.
