Pair of Serigraphs after Marc Chagall

Item Details

A pair of black-ink serigraphs after very well-listed Russian artist Marc Chagall (New York/France/Russian Federation, 1887 – 1985), released by Israel Museum in Jerusalem as indicated by the embossed blindstamps to the bottom right corners. The first, titled, The String of Pearls, depicts a girl riding on the back of a huge chicken flying over rooftops of a village at night, a bright full moon joining them in the sky. The second, titled, The First Encounter, depicts two lovers holding each other’s faces closely in an intimate embrace. Both prints are float-mounted with deckled edges exposed within white mat, under glass, in simple narrow black frames.
