Asian-Inspired Lift Up Television Cabinet

Item Details

A Hickory Manufacturing Company Asian influenced television cabinet with Chinoiserie hand painted accents. It is signed by the artist DVAN on the third drawer panel. This piece has a front with four drawer fronts only that are each painted with a different scene. The hardware is brass. The three top panels actually lift up to reveal a cabinet to house a television. The lower drawer is a real drawer and has a brass medallion with “Hickory Furniture Co.” on it. The sides of the cabinet are highly decorated with hummingbirds and flowers. The back of the cabinet is black vented board. This entire cabinet is on steel casters.

Condition

- to fair condition. Small chips at the base and scratches throughout. Wear to the top from previous use. This piece is structurally sound and the front panel lifts easily.
