A vintage Stromberg-Carlson #1543W rotary cradle telephone, circa 1940s. The phone is black with a black Bakelite handset; they are connected with a black spiral cord. The rotary dial has white Arabic numbers and letters next to its adjourning ring. The handset is marked ‘Stromberg-Carlson’, and the phone is also marked ‘Stromberg-Carlson’, ‘1543W’, ‘54~’, and ‘494’. Item is untested.
