A Charles Hall original oil on linen painting, titled "On Long Street" (1997-98). The painting depicts a nude female figure seated with her back to the artist. Her lustrous brown hair is secured with a vivid blue ribbon and set in stark contrast against a neutral gray background. The artwork is executed in oil paint on canvas which has been secured to a painter’s board. The work displays pensive brushstrokes and a slightly polished surface. A gold leaf wooden frame with outer molding and recessed center complete the piece.
