Faux Grain Eastlake Frame with Reproduction Lithograph

A faux grain Eastlake frame with a reproduction lithograph. The walnut frame has a rich, warm, faux bois painted frame in burled walnut style. The frame has carved, white painted patterns of delicate leaf and flower buds at the corners and down each side, and it has a gold painted liner to the inside, featuring stenciled lattice work patterning. The tinted reproduction lithograph features an early American folk art image of a young child in a garden setting, holding a flower. Ready to hang with a contemporary hook to the upper reverse of the frame. Also included is a small walnut oval framed photograph of a young woman in a white lace dress with large, fashionable hat, circa 1910.
Condition
- to fair. Condition consistent with age. The small photograph has slight discoloration to the outside edges.
