Antique Trayser Piano Company Upright Piano

Item Details

An antique Trayser Piano Company upright piano. Model number 107766 from the Trayser Piano Company established in 1849 by American piano maker George Trayser of Indianapolis, Indiana. The Trayser company also has ties to the Ripley, Ohio area where a new piano factory was opened just before a new partnership with Cincinnati, Ohio company J.A. Skiff had begun. Trayser was then sold, the name changed to the Starr Piano Company and moved yet again, this time to its final home of Richmond, Indiana, where pianos continued to be manufactured with great success until the early 1950’s. Includes wood chair painted black with faded painted star on seat.
