Vietnam War Era Minigun Ammunition Box and 25mm Cartridges
Item Details
A Vietnam war era metal ammunition box, marked ‘Small Arms Ammunition for Minigun Func Lot RR-L-500-41’ to the lid. The minigun, more properly the M134, was introduced in 1963. This lot also includes three empty cartridges from 25mm ammunition, which is used in autocannons, and which appear to be from circa the same period as the ammunition box (Vietnam or Cold War). They are marked ‘25MM TP PGU-23’, with ‘TP’ indicating ‘target practice’.
