Antique Chinese Carved Wooden Plaque

Item Details

A carved Chinese wooden plaque, likely taken from a piece of furniture made at the turn of the century. The carving depicts two figures standing beneath a cherry blossom tree outside of a tea house. The carving has gilt finish and areas of mother of pearl sprinkled to add texture. It is unsigned and presented in a modern dark wood frame with areas of gold-toned finish without a hanging wire.
