Limited Edition Champion Paper Promotional Model Bicycles

Item Details

A pair of promotional model bicycles from a Champion International Paper Company advertising campaign in the mid-1980s, promoting the use of Champion’s newsprint for newspaper publication. The bicycles feature moving pedals and wheels with their own miniature kick-stands, baskets at the front, moving pedals, and working handbrake levers. All of the bikes come in their original advertising boxes with their slogans printed within. A single seat bicycle and six-seat bicycle are included. Fewer than 500 sets of these bicycles were produced. Champion Paper was founded in Hamilton, Ohio, in 1893, and survived a number of natural disasters to continue as one of the leading paper manufacturers in the country for decades.
