"La Mode Ilustrée" Offset Lithograph

A vintage offset lithograph reproduction of an engraved illustration from the Parisian fashion magazine La Mode Illustrée, which was most active in the late 19th century. This print depicts two women in a garden; they wear extravagant silk dresses as one woman picks a rose and hands it to the other. The image was likely originally created by Anais Tordouze, though the area where his signature would sit is covered by the matting. The print is matted in oval-cut white and is presented behind glass in a thin wooden frame with gold-toned finish. A wire is attached to the verso of the piece for hanging.

Condition

-paper is slightly warped. Edges of matting are yellowed.
