An original oil on canvas mid-20th century painting by American artist Caroline Burnett. Burnett began her painting career in Paris, and continues to be best-known for her textured paintings of Parisian street scenes. This painting depicts a street lined with beautiful Parisian architecture. Mysterious figures with shrouded faces make their way through this pleasant scene. The painting is signed in red to the lower right corner. It is presented in a modern gold-toned wooden frame with white linen lining. A wire is attached to the verso of the piece for hanging.
