Three Batchelder Arts and Crafts Tiles
Item Details
A set of three Batchelder (Los Angeles, 1909-1932) California Arts and Crafts tiles, having a mat tan surface with darker brown glaze, which highlights the relief floral design. The larger tile is marked on the back, ’ BATCHELdER LOS ANGELES’. The smaller tiles are unmarked. All three have cement residue on the verso.
Condition
- having several chips to edges and cement residue on verso.
Dimensions
- measurement is for large single tile. Other two measure 5.75-inches square.
