Folk Art Jewelry Chest
Item Details
A hand made folk art tabletop jewelry chest signed by artist A. J. Peter, dated January 14th, 1925. This features an appliqué cornice with carved floral motifs, a recessed red velvet lined compartment with necklace hooks and a mirrored back and three drawers line with red velvet. This has a rich egg and dart trim to the front and backing. This was crafted by various materials, including old cigar boxes as the drawers. This is signed and dated underneath one drawer.
