An original signed watercolor landscape on canvas by listed artist Alma Jordan Knauber (American, 1893-1947). The work shows a broad stream bordered in a lush forest, with wide sandy expanses banding the waters. To the distant are low blue forested hills. The painting is signed by the artist to the lower left corner and finished under glass in an off white matte and gilded frame. Alma Jordan Knauber was an Ohio landscape artist who studied and painted in Taos, New Mexico in the 30’s.
