A framed Frederic Tellander 1943 Flying Fortress lithograph print. The print depicts four United States B-17 bombers airborne in a cloudy sky over sea below with sun beams filtering downward. The image is done in subdued tones of watery blue, green, gray, yellow and white. The print is signed in plate by artist to lower-left and marked ‘Copyright 1943. The Studebaker Corporation’ to lower right margin. The print is housed under glass in a molded natural finish wood frame, having a hanging wire and Closson Galleries label to verso.

Condition

- there is toning and some foxing. There are nicks, chips and rubbing to wooden frame. The backing paper is torn around edges.
