"Inspector Gadget" Limited Edition Animation Cel

A 1992 limited edition reproduction of an animation cel from the television show Inspector Gadget, with an offset lithograph background and hand-painted floating figures. The term ‘cel’ refers to one of a series of animation drawings that has been transferred to an acetate sheet, painted by hand, and then photographed against a background. This cel bears the seal of DIC Enterprises to the lower right, where it is hand-numbered 97/100. The cel is double-matted in blue and black and is presented behind plexiglass in a beveled stormy blue plastic frame. A Certificate of Authenticity states the piece is hand-painted and limited and gives some information about the show and this cel. A wire is attached to the verso of the piece for hanging.

Condition

-light scratching across plexiglass. Cel is slightly warped in frame.
