Pair of Barry Leighton-Jones Signed Offset Lithographs

A pair of signed limited edition offset lithographs of paintings by well-loved clown illustrator Barry Leighton-Jones (1932-2011), titled, Clown Alley Chorus and In the Spotlight. The prints depict famous clown Emmett Kelly’s best-known character, Weary Willie. The prints were released as a part of ‘The Original Circus Collection’; each print has a gold stamp on the front that holds this information. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the verso of In The Spotlight certifying that it is truly limited edition; this is signed by Leighton Jones, the publisher, and Kelly’s wife, Evi Kelly. Both prints are signed and numbered in pencil in their lower margins; Clown Alley Chorus is numbered 615/4400 and In the Spotlight is numbered 2408/5000. Both prints are mounted on black and matted in white and are presented behind glass in matching gold-toned frames. Sawtooth hangers are attached to the verso of each.
