A lithographic print on paper A New Beginning by Gloria Vass Scheib from 1993. The artist Gloria Vass Scheib signed the picture in pencil in the lower right and titled ‘A New Beginning’ also with pencil, in the lower center. The painting shows Steiff’s Mr. and Mrs. Noah and all ten animal pairings after the flood, with a rainbow on both sides of the Ark representing the ‘New Beginning.’ This is a limited edition Steiff piece that coincides with the complete Steiff Ark collection, numbered 18/1900 in the lower left of the print. The picture is framed with True Vue conservation UV protective clear glass, with a natural cherry wood exterior framing with an interior wood rope motif.
