A semi-antique handwoven cotton blend Afghanistan area rug from the Baluch region. The central field has two large guls with camel and taupe flame-like pendants from each corner along with identical repeating guls and several eight-pointed star motifs against a deep blue background and finished with a sawtooth edge. There are several borders including: hooked border, two turtle guard borders, an interchanging diagonal or triangle border and each end have a soldier or arrow kilim skirt border. The borders feature colors such as camel brown, deep sapphire blue, salmon pink, ivory, mocha brown, and more.
