1945 Rookwood Pottery Fish Box

Item Details

A 1945 lidded fish box by Rookwood Pottery of Cincinnati, Ohio. The rectangular box features a low relief motif of fish to the lid. This is glazed in the standard matte cream glaze. Marked to base with the Rookwood Pottery fourteen flames makers mark, date XLV and mould number 6857.

Condition

- crazing. Scuffs and dirt marks to interior. Chips to lid interior lip.
