Vintage Remington 5 Portable Typewriter
Item Details
A vintage Remington 5 portable manual typewriter. Circa 1935. This classic example features rounded corners for a more portable, aerodynamic look. It was also the first to offer the exclusive, innovative feature of a red ‘Self Starter’ key; with one touch, this key automatically indents paragraphs. This model comes stored in its original black case with leather handle.
Condition
Unable to be tested; missing ribbon. No key for case, but closing mechanism works. Wear to both typewriter and case appears consistent with age and normal use.
