Ingres Offset Lithograph " Madame Guillaume Guillon Lethière and Son"

An offset lithograph after a graphite drawing titled Madame Guillaume Guillon Lethière, née Marie-Joseph-Honorée Vanzenne, and her son Lucien Lethière by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres (French, 1780–1867). The portrait depicts the wife and son of the director of the French Academy in Rome. The mother and child are depicting against the background of the gardens of the Villa Medici. The original drawing was produced during 1808. The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s stamp is shown to the lower left corner. The print is presented behind glass and set in a moulded wood frame with black-toned borders and gold-toned abstract floral details.

- slight damage to inner beaded border of frame.
