1957 New York Yankees Signed Baseball

Item Details

A 1957 New York Yankees signed American League (William Harridge President) baseball is presented in this lot. Signatures of Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle are on the ‘sweet spot’. The other signatures are: Tony Kubek, Harry Simpson, Bob Turley, Sal Maglie, Jerry Lumpe, Andy Carey, Bob Grim, Tommy Byrne, Bobby Richardson, Hank Bauer, Jerry Coleman, Elston Howard, Enos Slaughter, Don Larsen, Joe Collins, Bobby Shantz, Bill Skowron, Ed Ford (this is Whitey Ford, he signed ‘Ed’), Tom Sturdivant, Darrell Johnson, Al Cicotte, Art Ditmar, Gil McDougald and John Kucks. The original owner noted a small ‘57’ under the ‘Pres’ stamping on the baseball. There is one name, in which the player printed their name, appears on the ‘REACH’ logo, but it is illegible. The signatures on this baseball have not been authenticated.
