Vintage Leather Football Helmet

Item Details

A vintage 1930’s leather football helmet. The helmet is in the early ‘aviator’ style with heavy hardened leather and dense ear coverings. The inside is composed of padded leather with the crown having radial canvas bands. After 1938 helmets were made of plastic with more of a spherical shape.

Condition

-good for age and use, some cracks and discoloration to the leather, wear to the interior leather, needs cleaned.
