Shepard Fairey Signed AP Serigraph "Joan Jett The Runway"

A signed original serigraph by well-listed American artist and activist Shepard Fairey (1970-), titled Joan Jett The Runaway. The print depicts a black, white, and gray portrait of punk rock icon Joan Jett, best known for performing in Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and The Runaways. Fairey’s signature slogan, ‘Obey,’ is printed in gray made to look like spraypaint in the lower right corner. This print is labeled ‘AP,’ or ’Artist’s Proof,’ in pencil in the lower margin. A limited edition of 450 of this print signed by Shepard, Chris Stein and Joan Jett were released in 2013, along with just a few of these Artist Proofs signed by Fairey alone. His signature sits in the lower right. The print is presented behind glass in a simple black frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso. The artist’s website can be found under Related Links.
