A limited edition porcelain figurine of Enrico Caruso as Pagliacci by Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory, Kunstabteilung of Germany. The piece is complete with the drumstick and numbered 33/5000. This collector’s item was designed for the Metropolitan Opera Guild in 1981 to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The clown’s face and hands have a matte finish. The predominately white sculpture features colorful hand-painted details. Marked to the underside, ‘1814. Hutschenreuther. Germany. Kunstabteilung. No. 33/5000. 1981 Metropolitan Opera Guild.’
