Item Details

A Winchester Model 1895 Russian Musket with matching original bayonet. The stock is made of walnut, and key characteristics include a musket style forearm, and a 7.62 Russian caliber round 28’ barrel with a clip guide to the top of receiver. This gun has a serial number of 366920, with a manufacture date of 1916. Between the years of 1915-1917, Winchester manufactured 300,000 of these type guns for use by the Russian military. Production of the model 1895 (which was designed by John Browning) was discontinued in 1936. Gun fired when tested. (As this gun was manufactured after 1898, it will require an FFL and on-site pickup will not be available.)

Firearms purchased by residents other than the state of Ohio have to be shipped to a licensed firearms dealer in your state and additional transfer fees may be assessed. Purchaser must comply with ATF and federal firearms requirements. Firearms will not be available at this location for inspection or pick up until that time. Bidders requesting shipping will need to make proper shipping arrangements through North College Hill Gun Store (purchaser must comply with ATF and federal firearms requirements). Items transferred through North College Hill Gun Store must be paid for two days after sale closing by contacting EBTH during normal business hours at 1-888-862-8750 menu option 1 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm). The winning bidder will be responsible to make payment to North College Hill Gun Store separately for costs associated with transfers ($15.00) or shipping (contact North College Hill Gun Store for a shipping estimate). Please note that only the winning bidder may purchase and pick up the gun.

Gun fired when tested. Bore is extra clean and has strong rifling.
