A beautiful wool art rug from the Klee Collection by Ege Axminster. This Danish rug recreates the painting Florentinisches Villenviertel by Danish Modern artist Paul Klee, 1926. This rug was made circa 1975 by Danish rugmaker Ege Axminster. The rug features an abstract landscape of villas in Tuscany, and while the landscape may not be immediately recognizable, the color palette effectively evokes Tuscany with warm yellows, reds, oranges, and pops of green.
