Framed Toile Designer Fabric and Toile's de Jouy Book
Item Details
Toile fabric and book. A copy of Toiles de Jouy first edition 2002 with dust cover of toile print, by Judith Straiten. Three framed toile fabric pieces each depicting a historical scene. The large frame is matte black made from engineered wood with glass. The two smaller frames appear to be wood, no glass, one featuring a Victorian scene of visitors watching monkeys at a zoo.
Condition
Frame backing reinforced with tape; Condition on the large piece has some rippling on top 1/2 Inch from matting.
