Mackie Art 200a Active Speaker System

A Mackie Industrial Art 200a Active Speaker System for use during events. The system consists of two large mountable amplifiers, together with two large metal mounting brackets. The speakers connect via a standard XLR jack (as well as a two female to one male adapter cord included with the speakers) and have input and output connections to allow the chaining of multiple speakers, as well as volume controls, a music equalization switch which provides a low-frequency and high-frequency boost, and a voltage select switch which allows for alteration of the power settings of the speaker. The bottom of each speaker has a 1 3/8’ (35 mm) socket to allow for mounting on a speaker stand. Each of the two brackets hooks to either side of the speaker and can allow the user to mount the speakers horizontally on a raised bar.

Condition

- Both amplifiers turned on when plugged in. They were not tested with any audio input, but when the volume knobs were turned both amps produced very loud sounds. Other functions were not tested.
