Set of Vintage Japanese Dragon Moriage Plates
Item Details
A set of vintage Japanese dragon moriage plates. Each plates features hand painted elements to the clay designs. The dragons, with wings outstretched, have an open mouth with moriage smoke surrounding. The trim of the plates features billowing burnt orange and brown design with hand applied white dotted border. The set includes two dessert plates and one saucer. Marked ‘Made in Japan’ in ink to the undersides.
Condition
-Condition consistent with age and use. Each plate and saucer have wear and discoloration to the edge of the rim from storage and display. One plates has three incisions to the underside with discoloration.
