Antique Lamps from Cleveland Non-Explosive Lamp Company

A pair of antique study lamps from the Cleveland Non-Explosive Lamp Company out of Cleveland, OH. This pair of brass lamps don the maker’s patent information to the lamp socket ‘Cleveland Study Lamp Pat’d Nov. 18, 1871. Mar. 10, 1863. Reissued Dec 30 1873.’ The brass lamps also feature an ‘argand’ burner, which the company developed to help with the prevention of fires caused by kerosene lamps. The lamps have adjustable height, and stand on a round pedestal.
