A pair of 20th century, vintage porcelain plaques depicting a man and a woman in 18th century costume, both accented with stiffened nylon lace ornament. Hand painted figures in relief, seated on chairs, in front of a yellow background and bordered by scalloped white with gold accents. The man plays a lute, the woman holds a flower. Marked ‘Made in Japan’ to the back, made for hanging on a wall
