An original oil painting by Robert Fabe of children playing in the snow. Fabe (American, 1917-2004) is well known for painting, murals, and art education, and studied at both the Cincinnati Art Academy and at the Students Arts League in New York. He is a respected Professor of Art in DAAP at the University of Cincinnati for nearly three decades. This engaging painting on canvas of children is signed on the lower right, and is mounted in a multiple wood frame. The frame is detailed with a gold tone edge, a black reveal, linen border and gold ton interior edge.
