Item Details

An original gouache painting on silk mounted to board by German artist Elke Einsmann, dated 1981. The image depicts a doll with braided pigtails, wearing a striped dress, a red banded hat and Victorian boots, perched on a blue calico upholstered chair. Artist signature and date are signed in paint to the mid right edge. The painting is mounted under a light beige velveteen mat, in a beveled wood frame with a natural dark stained finish. To the verso, artist signature and date are signed in pen.

Condition

- accretion on painting surface and frame. Finish of frame is worn.
