Vintage 1960s USAF White Dinner Dress Uniform
Item Details
A vintage 1960s USAF summer white formal dinner dress uniform with black pants and matching dress hat. The hat features a silver storm cloud embroidery to the brim and a silvertone Federal eagle affixed to the front. The dinner jacket has black epaulettes with embroidered Lt. Colonel rank, and is adorned with eleven dress medals of merit including a purple heart, good conduct, defense, campaign pin 1941-1945, Korean service, and armed forces reserves. Interior tags present with officer’s name, and dated 1963. Lot includes a simple black composite framed photo print of the officer and a photo compilation from his time as a pilot for the ‘Thunderbirds’.

- uniform shows minor yellowing and tarnish to the buttons
