There are six signatures to the front of the guitar, three of them belonging to Flavor Flav, Professor Griff, and Chuck D of the famous hip-hop group Public Enemy. Public Enemy was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and is well known for their contribution to the rap-metal musical genre, which helped launch their international success. The Ohio Players were inducted into the Official R&B Music Hall of Fame on August 12, 2013. Two other autographs accompany Public Enemy and Ohio Players; however, these signatures were unidentifiable at the time of cataloging. This item was untested.
- Everything But The House does not authenticate celebrity memorabilia. Items that are consigned with Certificates or Letters of Authenticity (COA) are listed as such with the item’s description. Autographs without COAs are compared to authenticated examples from online sources prior to sale upload.
Condition
- the guitar shows no wear to the fingerboard. The case shows wear and shallow scratching to the edges and top of case, with one thumb clasp bent upward; however, this does not impact the closure of the case, as the case closes securely. A small swatch of gaff tape with silver marked “LP” is located to the rim of the case.
