"Star Wars" Original 1977 Double-LP Soundtrack and Poster

A vintage version of the two-record Star Wars original soundtrack. This iconic album was recorded by composer John Williams and the London Symphony Orchestra in 1977. Included is the original single-page track title sheet with movie scene details and explanations of Maestro Williams’ approach to the film score. Features the 1977 poster by famed science-fiction artist John Berkey (1932 – 2008) depicting an epic space battle in front of the Death Star. This poster was a premium insert for the soundtrack release. In 2005, the American Film Institute deemed this score as the “Most Memorable Movie Score of All Time for a U.S. Film.” Records are untested.
Condition
- pages show wear to the very edges. Poster is folded and was never mounted or framed, minor staining to the backside. Minor wear to the corners and edges of the record case. The front shows impression from record, as well as small circular wear marks around bottom text. Records untested.
