Lexington Dining Room Table and Chairs

A beautiful, Lexington rectangular dining table and six chairs. This solid wood set is part of the ‘Vestiges of the Past’ line which are based on original styles and ornamentation of 19th century American furniture much like those found on Southern plantations of the 1800s. Table (#382-874) features a book matched burl veneer top, beaded trim on the skirt and deeply routed, spiral cut legs with brass wheels. It includes two 15’ leaves. Chairs include two ‘Mallard’ arm chairs and four ‘Mallard’ side chairs which feature ornate shell pediments, centered on graceful splat back, cream damask fabric seats leading down to matched spiral cut legs in the front. Condition
One arm chair has a broken backrest. Otherwise, set has some faint marks, small scratches, etc. consistent with age and use.
