A circa 1907 press raised hand-colored gelatin, depicting a farmer and his dog; the farmer sharpens his scythe, used for the yellow hay pictured behind. Signed ‘F. Carter’ and dated to lower center. Embossed to corner ‘Genuine Hand Painted Gelatin’. Presented behind glass, in a gold tone wood frame.

Condition

- good, considering age, some surface chips to frame and water damage to mat.
