Antique and Vintage Collection of Tin and Metal Toys Movement
Item Details
An interesting collection of toys both antique and vintage in age. The first item is a red tin backhoe, heavily soiled with oxidation. The second is a wind-up of some sort, designed to set the platform to a swinging motion; this piece is made in japan, and the platform has a floral motif. Oxidation and soiling are present throughout and item is not working. The third item is the ‘Dandy Periscope’ by the Marks Brothers Company of Boston; silver loss to the reflective surface prevents it from being in working order. The cardboard tube has its original colorful paper however, but there is peeling. The fourth item is a metal spinning top with newer string, but oxidation is present. Also included is a nice metal coin bank and counter from the Historical Batesville Indiana bank. There is no key, and oxidation is present on this item as well.
