Reproduction Winged Goddess Swing Arm Clock
Item Details
A standing winged goddess swing arm clock, a reproduction inspired by the Ansonia clocks made at the turn of the 20th century. The metal sculpted figural clock is in a bronze finish and depicts a standing woman in draped garments holding a lyre in her left arm while supporting the swinging clock in her right hand. The woman’s wings are beautifully arched at her back and she stands on a cloud atop half a globe on a round base. The clock’s key wound movement is housed in a black globe with a ribbon finial and gold Arabic numerals, the bob at the end of the pendulum is also a black sphere. Key is not present. Untested.
