Charley Harper Serigraph "Foxsimiles"
Item Details
A signed and numbered serigraph by well listed and beloved Cincinnati artist and wildlife conservationist, Charley Harper (1922 – 2007), titled, Foxsimiles, issued in 1981. The image depicts a host of fox faces arranged in a circular pattern against a green backdrop with blue flowers, simulating a fox family peeking out of their den. Numbered in pencil edition 943 of 1500 to the bottom left margin and signed by Harper in pencil to the bottom right margin. Triple matted behind orange, blue, and cream, under glass, in a black composite frame. A paper sleeve to the verso contains additional information about this print from Frame House Gallery.
Condition
- two scratches on serigraph ink to upper right of print, on right side ear of top fox. Light wear to frame on corners.
