An original circa 1910 sepia photographic print, matte, by J.E. Johnson, of Hillsboro, Oregon, a striking female nude, titled ‘Transit of Venus,’ #2 of a series, the model turned 3/4 away from the camera, facing an ethereal landscape, signed on the verso of the matting. Printed on a thick, textured wove paper.

Condition

Good, toning to the matting, the image is fine overall for its age.
