Vintage Ed Roos Cedar Chest

A vintage Ed Roos Chest. This gorgeous chest is constructed from aromatic, genuine Tennessee red cedar with brass hardware, and the inside is lined with perforated cardboard for extra protection. A kind of dental molding borders the top and base with book matched walnut veneer panels on the front, each displaying a carved floral center design. This piece also has a scroll-cut apron on the front, and it sits on four fluted, turn cut feet.

Condition

Consistent with age. Small bits of veneer are missing on a front panel and apron. Latch has been removed for safety reasons but is included.
