Oak Secretary Desk and Bookcase c. 1890-1910

Item Details

An antique oak secretary desk and bookcase, circa 1890-1910. The piece has a glass door enclosing three shelves to the left side adjoining a slant front desk with keyhole over a single drawer with two metal pulls and a cabinet below. Within the drop-front compartment are assorted size mail slots and a small drawer with wooden knob. There is an inset beveled mirror above the desk compartment and the piece has pressed wood carved details applied on the top.

Condition

Good with expected wear for age and use. Top crown molding is unattached with pegs. The exterior drawer comes with original hardware included but us currently unattached.
