A pair of official Kentucky Derby Festival framed posters. One is a 1985 poster designed by Sonny Whittle and Mark Bird, this collage-style poster features layers of cut paper, most prominently a white Pegasus and swirls of blue, green, and purple, over a field of iconic Louisville scenes and landmarks. The piece is set behind glass in a painted blue frame with a metallic gold tone stripe, which is wired for wall mounting. The other was designed by Sonny Whittle for the 1990 derby festival and has a very similar motif. It is set behind glass in a metallic gold tone metal frame, which is wired for wall mounting.
