A collection of issues of ’Godey’s Lady’s Book’ from the 19th century. Godey’s Lady’s Book was published from 1830-1898 and covered fashion, entertaining, music, and literature to educate women. Famous authors including Harriet Beecher Stowe, Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and many other celebrated 19th century authors had works published in the magazine. This collection includes seven issues; November 1842, December 1856, June 1854, September 1856, March 1856, November 1867, and November 1869.
Condition
None of the issues have the covers intact. There are small tears to the edges of the pages and some discoloration from age.
