A bookplate by the infamous Earl Mashawn Washington (born 1968) best known for attempting to pass off famous works by other artists as his own by carving his own plates and pencil signing them with his name. This particular bookplate of an iconic art deco Rockwell Kent work depicts a nude man caught in a ladder and is taped to Masonite with a black matte plexiglass paneled front.
